Safety Standards

First things first: both the Larktale Quad and the WonderFold W4 meet the Australian Pram Safety Standards (AS/NZS 2088), so you can feel confident that you're choosing a safe option either way.  This means they both have 5-point harnesses and are both classified as a pram.

 

Folding Mechanism

Larktale Quad

• Folds using a button on the lower outside of the wagon.
• Push the button, then pull up from the centre.
• Locks together with a side clip near wheelbase once folded.

WonderFold W4 Elite or W4 Luxe

• Uses two folding clips on either side at the top of the wagon.
• Pull both clips up and push wagon from end to fold
• Locks together with a side clip near wheelbase once folded.

Seat Recline and Foot Space While in Reclined Position

Larktale Quad

• There is a built-in 9 cm recline that you can easily adjust from the outside of the wagon by loosening or tightening a strap on the seatback.  The seats recline by reclining the backrest and therefore you do not lose any footwell space.

WonderFold W4 Elite or W4 Luxe

• The seats recline by sliding the seat base forward, which tilts the backrest.  This reduces the available space in the footwell while in the reclined position.
